Sleeping Town
Premiere summer 2021
Together with Holiday films, we co-produce a new Czech film called Sleeping Town based on the well-known book of the same name by the writer Martin Vopěnka. Locations will be, for example, České Budějovice, then Český Krumlov, Jindřichův Hradec, Dačice, Nová Bystřice, Česká Kanada. The film was shot in June 2020 and now is in post-production and we are planning to premiere the film in the summer of 2021.
The director of the feature film is Dan Svátek, who is also the author of Smiles of Sad Men or Stockholm Syndrom. The film, whose story is from the world of children and teenagers who have to take care of themselves because their parents fell asleep inexplicably, will, when completed, represent South Bohemian locations, actors and extras not only in Czech cinemas and televisions but also at foreign film festivals and foreign distribution channels (cinemas, TV, online).
